on the Ministry of Education’s curriculum framework,
our kindergarten curriculum highlights six critical
areas of learning experiences to ensure holistic development
- Language and Literacy
- Cultural and Environmental Awareness
- Personal and Social Responsibility
- Physical Skills and Well-being
- Aesthetics and Creative Expression
Our curriculum is the design of experiences and activities
developed by our teachers, which together with appropriate
equipment and material, enable children to increase
their competence in all areas of their development.
Learning is most effective when children are actively
engaged in activities based on their curiosity and interests
so learning experiences are integrated and structured
around meaningful situations, and learning takes place
seamlessly. The curriculum will provide ample opportunities
for children to learn from observations, enquiry, exploration
and first-hand experiences. The emphasis is on supporting
children’s capabilities to think, communicate
and form their own ideas.
Our classrooms are organized with learning centres for creative art, construction, literacy, numeracy, science and nature, manipulatives, blocks, sensorial, practical life, music, and dramatic play.
